Point-of-care testing (POCT) is now an accepted and expanding part of pathology services and to reflect this, Congress 2022 has expanded to include POCT as an entire lecture programme on Thursday 17 March.
Another successful addition we introduced in 2019 was the cellular pathology case studies session. For 2022 we will be having a whole afternoon on Monday 14 March devoted to a guided workshop of case studies covering the pathological features, diagnostic techniques, and differential diagnoses of a range of cases. This session will combine both histopathology and cytopathology and will encourage discussion and learning in an informal setting.
We know how difficult it is for staff to be out of the laboratory while still maintaining a service and we want to make Congress accessible to as many people as possible. That is why we are again offering our most popular lecture programmes on two separate days.
On Monday, in addition to the cellular pathology workshops, we will be opening the lecture programme with Quality Management and Education & Training, providing more chance to hear the presentation you want to hear and less chance of a programme clash with the scientific lecture programmes that commence on Tuesday 15 March.
