Biomedical Data Solutions (BDS) software systems span the entire instrumentation value chain. BDS consults, designs, develops and produces fully automated solutions for its partners in the fields of diagnostics including blood banking. These software products can be either simple instrument/LIS connectivity solutions or large multiple instrument “middleware” solutions. The “core” software is called Aurora Enterprise.

More recently BDS launched Vigilant Task Management Software to UK Pathology Labs to help them comply with ISO 15189. Vigilant software allows labs to electronically enter and manage any device laboratory task normally recorded using ‘tick box and signature’ paper-based records ensuring that device tasks are always up to date and never missed.
